The Council welcomes participation in the Council meetings. Comments shall be limited so that everyone may be heard. This item is limited to matters under the jurisdiction of the Council which are not on the posted agenda and items which have not already been considered by the Council. The Council limits comments on matters not on the agenda to 3 minutes per person. No action will be taken. -

Mendocino County MOVE 2030 (Mendocino Opportunities for a Vibrant Economy) is the new name for Economic Recovery and Resiliency Plan of EDFC. Sattie will report out on Subcommittee meeting of June 18, 2020. Sheilah Rogers, Interim Executive Director for EDFC, can answer questions. We would like local business owners to participate, letting us know their ideas and any obstacles to running a business that is resilient in times of disaster, sustainable over time, and can provide long-term employment.
Updates on pellet plant-Dolly.
Update on pesticides and neonicotinoids.
Updates of fire safety preparedness.

Development Review Ad Hoc Subcommittee: Marybeth, Jini

This subcommittee needs one more member. Discussion of new or pending permits issued by the County, observed building activities.
Update on citizen complaint regarding 9400 West Rd cannabis farm which was issued a 2B-large mixed light permit. Alex DeGrasse reported on June 1, 2020, by email that there is no evidence yet that the company or owner of the property involved in the cannabis operation has violated any codes. Subcommittee will need to continue to monitor the citizen complaints, investigate, and respond to the Council if violations occur.

CAP: Community Action Plan and Design Review

It is time to vote whether to approve the Community Action Plan. We will need a CAP Subcommittee that may include advisors, for the next step of presenting the CAP to Planning and Building.

Dolly will introduce a possible Secretary, Teel Gordon, who is a Teacher and only available for the summer. Discussion and possible action.
Supervisor Brown is considering appointment of a new Member, Patricia Ris-Yarbrough.
