Neighbor problems: One resident has a neighbor that is encroaching on a right of way. She lives near the railroad and her neighbor has blocked her driveway multiple times. Talk to the building dept. make a complaint? Eyesight, safety? Maybe talk to Carre Brown. Come to our community planning meeting! Update on FEMA trailers at Lake Mendo? 1 month extension. When will chippers be available? Nash Gonzales (head of recovery) as the contact. Cal Fire. County wide environmental impact report. Wednesday April 24th, BABBs (Road B, A, & Black Bart Trail) at 6:30. Making reflective signs, talking fire safety. 3551 Road B. Anyone welcome.
- Report from County Staff. No County staff present. Public Community Planning Meeting May 14th. How do we get our Design Guidelines into the General Plan? County is very backed up with other entities trying to make amendments to the General Plan and the County may not get to us for a few years. Draft Design Guidelines is up on the website.
- Upcoming Community Special Meeting: Review plan for next Public Meeting, scheduled for May 14 at 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Current status of the drafts? Design Guidelines are up on the website. Templates used: Placer County, and Middletown in Lake County. Need to get the word out and copies of the draft outs. How to get people here? Target the school?...Maybe better if there are less kids. Keep the flyer and postcard brief! Marybeth will get the County to give out all the addresses for Redwood Valley. Gizmo and Marybeth will address postcards. The County will stamp them. Marybeth will know more when she talks to Darcy. Send out the postcard the day after Easter. Have the flyers ready before that and in time for the Grange Bake Sale. NCO has the PGE money. Carolynn Welch. Distribution of electronic copies and hard copies. Where would they go? The Grange? the Store? Post Office? RV Grange Easter Bake Sale! Food for the Meeting: Genine, Zocalo Collective. Chehada Brothers? Falafel? Jini will talk to the Chehada Brothers. What is the count? Maybe 75? Easy to eat. Jini is taking over the catering to make sure that we have some! Format for the meeting: World Cafe Format. Cliff as the master of ceremonies. Nash's feedback is that the Community Plan is not comprehensive enough. Design Guidelines might be controversial. Jini: From the Economic summit: Big need for childcare and more supervision. RV as a great location. Need to get this at the meeting. Gotta get Flow Kana at the meeting!! Need to Invite Fire Dept people. Language- the simpler the better. Marybeth to look into swag for the RVMAC.
- Ad Hoc Committee Reports. Marybeth to join the Development Review Committee. Chris motioned, Katrina seconded. All in favor. Admin Review: West Road- cannabis processing. Conditional approval Road D- R1 to R10 (for cannabis). RVMAC extends 'conditional" approval of C-1 to C-2 on North State with the condition: Can the desired use be achieved with a use permit rather than a zone change? Motioned, seconded, and all in favor. A public hearing is in order when...? when a use permit is needed? Jehovah's Witness property for sale...zoned commercial... Water situation with PGE and the Eel? Won't Sonoma County have a big pull in the situation? Sen. Huffman is not in favor of keeping Lake Pillsbury.
