Conservation Sonoma: Sonoma County Habitat Conservation Plan & Natural Communities Conservation Plan

John Mack, Natural Resources Division Manager with Permit Sonoma, will provide an overview of the process to develop a Habitat Conservation Plan/Natural Communities Conservation Plan for the County of Sonoma (Conservation Sonoma). The presentation will summarize what an HCP/NCCP is, species and activities being considered for inclusion in the plan, how an HCP/NCCP can benefit both conservation and planned economic development, and the current status of the planning process.View the September 2025 Conservation Sonoma Community Workshop here:

The April 8 River MAC Meeting is cancelled. The next regular meeting of the River MAC will take place on May 13, 2026. A special meeting of the River MAC, a Council of Governments Convening, will take place on Saturday April 18 at the Monte Rio Community Center.
