The River MAC bylaws state that members will not involve themselves in official River MAC activities that could materially benefit them personally, their business interests, or the interests of organizations that they represent. In a conflict of interest, the member will abstain from voting, and the abstention will be recorded in the minutes.

              • Correspondence: Ratification of Letter of Support to Senate Local Government Committee in regards to AB 817.

                The MAC previously endorsed a letter to Assemblymember Blanca Pacheco, the author of AB 817, in May 2023. We recently learned that the Senate Local Government Committee would be holding a hearing on the matter prior to our next MAC meeting. Therefore, the Chair signed an updated letter to the Committee on behalf of the MAC.
