Pursuant to the Brown Act, the Sonoma Coast MAC cannot consider issues or take action on any requests during this comment period. Due to time constraints, comments will be limited at the discretion of the Chair.
          • Presentation from Jeff Duval, Sonoma County Director of Emergency Management

            Director Duval will provide a broad overview of DEM and how the department works with publicand private partnerships in preparing for and addressing natural disasters and emergencies. He willoutline how resources are staged, prioritized and deployed.

            • Defensible Space Inspections

              Cyndi Foreman, Sonoma County Fire District Division Chief - Fire Marshall will provide an overview of the Defensible Space letters that have been sent out and detail the how and why these inspections are taking place.

              • Consideration of changing meeting start time to 6 PM

                The Coast MAC currently meets alternate (odd) months from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. There has been a recommendation to change the meeting start time to 6 PM in order to make it easier for the public to attend after their work day. The Coast MAC will consider this change.
