RULES AND PROCEDURES OF THIS BOARD
Public Comment: Non-Agenda Items
The board cannot take action on comments regarding non-agenda items. We do, however, value public input and will consider comments for future action. Comments on non-agenda items are not accepted at special meetings.
Public Comment: Agenda Items
The chairperson or presiding officer shall have the exclusive authority to recognize speakers from the public during the point of discussion and before is taken for each agenda item within the agenda. Although there is no time limit, comments are respectfully requested to be within 3 minutes per speaker per agenda item.

Greenville Park Renovation Plan and Budget

Attached is a scope of work compiled with input from Greenville Little League, IVRPD, and IVCSD. The purpose of this item is to get Board approval for the scope and project budget. The proposed project budget is for a maximum of $749,000. Staff recommends that the Board approves that budget with the stipulation that besides IVCSD's contribution, the maximum amount that can be spent is limited to outside grants/contributions that can be raised for the project. For example, if IVCSD's contribution plus all outside contributions/grants equals $500,000, then the project scope will be reduced and only that amount will be spent.
Currently, the following contributions have been pledged:
$100,000 - Greenville Little League
$200,000 - Indian Valley Recreation and Parks DistrictIt is recommended that IVCSD contribute $100,000 to the project, for a total current funding level of $400,000. In addition, Greenville Rotary has committed to contributing labor to the project. Staff intends to apply for grants from the Dixie Fire Collaborative and North Valley Community Foundation to supplement the already-identified funding.

Swimming Pool Manager Job Description and Pay Range

It is recommended that the Board adopt the new job description of Swimming Pool Manager, which is intended to be a full-time seasonal position funded by IVRPD. The recommended pay range is the equivalent to the existing Maint. Worker/Meter Reader range, which is $20.18 - $24.53 per hour. The successful applicant will be placed on the range according to experience.
