Public Comment: Non-Agenda Items

The board cannot take action on comments regarding non-agenda items. We do, however, value public input and will consider comments for future action. Comments on non-agenda items are not accepted at special meetings.

Public Comment: Agenda Items

The chairperson or presiding officer shall have the exclusive authority to recognize speakers from the public during the point of discussion and before action is taken for each agenda item within the agenda. Although there is no time limit, comments are respectfully requested to be within 3 minutes per speaker per agenda item.

            The Northern Region Office (NRO) of the State of California, Department of Water Resources (DWR) would like to send a representative to Greenville Ca, for IVCSD to participate in free groundwater testing.

                    This is a Grant that subsidizes customers bills for 5 years for disadvantage communities (like IVCSD) The State Water Resources Control Board is the grantor, They would provide a percentage (they come up with) that they would subsidize quarterly. (Please note this document IS NOT for IVCSD but a reference to the scope of work IVCSD could potentially be looking at.) If approved IVCSD would have a contract set up for this district with its specific scope of work to be approved by IVCSD Board of Directors.

                        Notice of customers to please cap sewers not in use/abandoned was sent out on bills and posted on IVCSD website in 2024 for all customers to ensure they have capped the sewer lines. Customers who have not capped sewer lines could be subject to a charge for IVCSD staff work regarding capping these sewer lines. Cost of materials and time spent on capping these sewer lines. This is and has been effecting the lift station with water getting in the GV lift station causing overflow.

                          • Create a YouTube Channel for IVCSD

                            This YouTube Channel would be used ONLY to upload and keep IVCSD meeting for the public with a simple click and would refer the public to see any Agenda Actions, Discussions or Public comments made in the meetings to help with transparency. Also help with public comments being recorded and available to the public. This Channel would be added to CivAssist Agendas for all public viewing.
